Air Marshall Udeni Rajapaksa Felicitation
Air Marshal Udeni Rakapaksa, commander of the Sri Lankan Air Force, was on an official visit to Australia, and the OAAV took the opportunity to conduct a felicitation dinner to honour his attendance and service to the country. The event was held at the Novotel Glen Waverley on May 2, 2024, and was attended by over 60 members of the association.
The felicitation dinner was a special occasion to recognize his distinguished career and his contributions to the Sri Lankan Air Force. It provided a platform for members of the OAAV and the broader community to express their appreciation and gratitude for his leadership and commitment to national defense.
