Countdown to 2024
The highly anticipated annual End of Year Family Event came to life with the vibrant sounds of a new band “Summer Breeze,” who entertained the crowd with the all-time crowd favourite star from Sri Lanka, Clifford Richard. Their energetic and nostalgic performance set the perfect tone for the celebration, captivating both young and old.
The event was held on the 16th of December 2023 at the Brandon Park Community Centre, drawing over 215 adults and 40 children. The diverse audience, spanning multiple generations, revelled in the musical trip down memory lane. The early segment of kids’ performance gave kids the opportunity to showcase their talents.
A highlight of the evening, especially for the children, was the much-anticipated visit from Santa Claus. Santa’s arrival brought an extra layer of excitement and joy, creating magical moments for the kids as they eagerly awaited their chance to meet him and receive their gifts.
