Part of the funds will be allocated to a key project that we are involved this year with the aim of addressing a real-life issue in Sri Lanka. OAAV is currently working with the R&D division of Sri Lanka Army, who are implementing an Elephant Repelling Light Array System to deter and repel Elephants from wondering into human habitats. This initiative is run with the objective of protecting wildlife and humans and we believe it will be a unique, viable project. We have already successfully completed Phase 1 of this project by partially protecting a village named Pulugasdeniya in Polonnaruwa, and hope to extend this even further. Any donations will be greatly appreciated and it would help to contribute towards a worthy cause.
